Retained by London insurance underwriting firm Icen Risk, I designed a logo and branding, which have been trademark protected and are used internationally. The stylised arrowhead logo derived from the company’s name icen, an old english word for iron and their intentions to ‘forge an innovative business inspired by the innate properties of strength and versatility.’ I developed the colour scheme in response to various arrowhead artefacts crafted during the iron age, observed on a visit to the British Museum. The initial company stationary was professionally printed due to imposed time constraints, however, I intend to produce future business and note cards using letterpress techniques.
